C. Booth Said: Finally More Space! ( Nov. 18th 2009 )
Awesome! I finally upgraded from my taped up 2gb MicroSD in an adpater to this 8gb. So happy I no longer have to tape the lock switch from locking itself randomly when trying to take photos. And now I don't have to limit my photo usage. 8gb is enough to keep several photos on hand in my camera with room to take several more when needed. Thank you!
Charles C. Deano Jr. Said: Probably works OK in cameras but not for ReadyBoost ( Nov. 9th 2009 )
I bought three of these to use in my digital cameras and three computers for ReadyBoost. When I initially installed them in the computers, Win 7 Home Premium recognized them and offered to let me use 4GB for ReadyBoost (apparently that's the max Win 7 allows). They worked for a day, then Win 7 quit using them for ReadyBoost and told me that they did not pass the speed test. I reformatted them in NFTS (from FAT32) and retested them but still no luck. I ordered one 4GB Extreme Class 10 SDHC to try. If it works, I may order a couple more for the other PCs and will just use these cards for my cameras. Update: The 4 GB Extreme Class 10 SDHC works like a champ with ReadyBoost and my HP Laptop.
Abigail Williams Said: Wii Compatible ( Nov. 4th 2009 )
This SDHC card works great with the wii. I needed some more space to clean up the memory on my wii, need updated version 4.0 or later, I bought the 8GB so I wouldn't need to buy another some day down the road. I have all of the games that I have beat on the SD so if I want to play again I can just get the memory from storage. It works great, I dont really know what else to say about the card.
Ben Finio Said: Doesn't work with Rock Band 2 for Wii ( Nov. 1st 2009 )
I bought this item so I could download additional songs for Rock Band 2 for my Wii (the Wii has a really small hard drive so you need external storage if you want more than a couple songs). The Wii itself recognizes that the SD card is present and I can move game saves/channels to it etc.; but then when I start Rock Band I get a message that says something like "The device in the SD card slot cannot be used. SD card mode has been disabled.". I was told this might have something to do with the "HC" part (high content?) and that I should have just gotten a regular SD card. This is a very specific complaint, I am sure the card would work fine if you just wanted to use it with a camera/computer etc.

Couldn't be happier to save money on an 8GB card - don't need the individual, retail packaging.
